Welcome to the latest edition of the Charm City Bird Watch Podcast! On this episode, WVUA-23 reporter Bethany Miller joins Jake to talk about her experience covering Alabama football at WVUA-23.

A week ago, the Alabama Crimson Tide defeated the Georgia Bulldogs 26-23 in overtime to win their fifth National Championship in the last nine years. Miller was on the field at Mercedes-Bentz Stadium as the confetti fell, and got to report from the sideline. On New Year’s Day, she was at the Superdome in New Orleans when Alabama took down Clemson 24-6 in the Sugar Bowl.

In Bethany’s time at Alabama, the Crimson Tide won two national titles. Going to an SEC school and covering an SEC team had to have been an amazing opportunity. On this episode, Bethany went into her time at Alabama and with WVUA, and what it was like to cover the championship-winning team this season. She also gave us the inside scoop on some potential Alabama players the Ravens could target in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Miller recently graduated from Alabama and currently reports and produces at WVUA. She is also a former classmate of Jake’s. Both Miller and McDonnell graduated from Susquehannock High School in 2014.
