One Alzheimer’s victim is my maternal grandmother. She is in the late stages of the disease and is the fourth out of nine siblings in her family to have an Alzheimer’s diagnosis. I’ve witnessed firsthand how this disease has impacted my family, and I’ve also noticed caregiving flaws. With that said, it’s of the upmost importance that the word on Alzheimer’s is spread.
With attention and research devoted to this disease, we can come together to help countless families that have suffered at the hands of Alzheimer’s.
